OIB 43rd TRASH BASH

We welcome all to Trash Bash! From our full-time residents to our weekend warriors, to those who just love OIB! Let's have a fun Saturday keeping this Island clean and beautiful. Bring a friend, get your family, reminded your neighbors!

9am: Sign-up at OIB Town Park. Join us for our annual beach & island wide clean-up event hosted by the Ocean Isle Property Owners Association. You choose the area & we provide gloves & bags. No pre sign up required we kindly ask you to check in with one of our volunteers. 

The whole island is open to sign up, so pick your street, favorite access or spot on the island or try somewhere new!

9am-11am: Clean-up. When done place the trash bags in any beach access receptacle or in the receptacles provided at the sign-up location.  Pending your location some areas could take 10-15mins while others could take 1-2 hours.  Feel free to return to Town Park when your area is completed. 

​

11am: Cookout lunch provided. Head back to Town Park for a lunch of burgers and dogs cooked by the Monroe Street BBQ Crew. So come enjoy lunch on us! 

 

11am: Pick up your commemorative t-shirt, free to all participants!
